Anna Maślanka

PhD candidate in the discipline of literary studies. Graduate of Czech philology at Jagiellonian University and biomedical engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology. Winner of the Josef Dobrovsky Scholarship (2021) and the Susanna Roth Prize for young Czech translators (2017). Her research interests primarily include contemporary Czech literature and the reception of Czech literature in Poland. She popularizes Czech culture in Poland as a translator, blogger and contributor to the Kino na Granicy film festival; her texts about literature have been published in Polish („Nowe Książki”, „Gazeta Wyborcza”, „Twórczość”) and Czech media (H7O, iLiteratura.cz).
