Anna Żalińska

PhD student at the Doctoral School of the University of the National Education Commission in the field of history since 2025, MA in history, archivist and museum curator. A graduate of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, studied also at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). In addition, she completed postgraduate studies in the administration of public offices with sign language at the State Higher Vocational School in Tarnów.

She has several years of experience working in the state archives, currently working in the Museum of the Tarnów Region.

As part of her doctoral thesis, supervised by Prof. Zdzisław Noga, she explores a topic at the intersection of archiving, museology and archival law, concerning the management of archival materials in public museums in Poland. In addition, her research interests include the history of the Tarnów and Nowy Sącz regions in the 19th and 20th centuries.
