Monika Janiszewska

I am a postgraduate student in the field of social sciences, in the discipline of pedagogy, at the Doctoral School of the University of the National Education Commission, Krakow.

I have completed a Master’s degree in Pedagogy (specialization: preschool and early school education) as well as in Psychology (specialization: child and adolescent psychology). In addition, I have completed postgraduate studies, including logopedics, education and support for individuals with ASD, pedagogical therapy, sensory integration, oligophernopedagogy, and organization and management of education.

My research interests focus on teachers’ work, their personal and professional development, as well as the diagnosis and therapy of individuals on the autism spectrum. My doctoral dissertation will address teachers’ experiences of stress along the professional promotion pathway.

I work as a teacher and vice-principal of Primary School and Nursery Unit. I conduct training for teachers and provide diagnosis and therapy for children and adolescents, particularly those with ASD. I am an expert for the Ministry of National Education (MEN) in the field of teachers’ professional advancement, a member of the Disciplinary Committees for Teachers at the Lesser Poland Voivode’s Office, and a member of the Rotary Club Krakow–Zamek Niepolomice.
