Wilfred Wokorach

PhD candidate in the institute of sociology, cognitive science, and philosophy at the University of the Commission of National Education in Krakow (UKEN). He is a graduate of the faculty of Law at University of Warsaw and has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences of Kyambogo University in Uganda, East Africa.

His research interests are in social protection, aging, welfare state, elderly people, rural areas, lived experiences, African studies.

His doctoral dissertation topic revolves around the lived experiences of older persons receiving Senior Citizens Grant (SCG) in rural Uganda, under the supervision of Professor Marius Dzieglewski of Jagiellonian University and assisted by Dr. Łukasz Cywinski of UKEN.
