Aleksandra Jasińska

PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow in the discipline of social and economic geography and spatial management. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a master’s degree in spatial management from the same University.

Her research interests focus on urbanity, the restitution of municipal rights to small towns, and heritage protection. As part of her doctoral dissertation, she plans to analyze the development of urban functions in selected Polish towns that have regained their municipal status.

In addition to her academic pursuits, she works for an organization supporting the development of local governance in Poland.
