Maria Koczur

a doctoral student of the Doctoral School, University of the National Education Commission in Kraków. She studied at AGH University in Kraków. She graduated from Mining and Geology with a specialization in Petroleum Geology. Her science interest is micropaleontology. She devoted her master’s and engineering thesis to research on the palaeoenvironment of the coastal zone of the Carpathian Foredeep based, among others, on foraminifera and dinoflagellate cysts. Her current research interests include radiolaria from the Cretaceous sediments of the Tethys Ocean.
