A graduated of first and second degree studies in historical tourism and cultural heritage at the Institute of History and Archival Studies, at the Pedagogical University of Commision of National Education in Kraków.
Licensed tour guide for Kraków, the Royal Wawel Castle, branches of the Kraków Museum, and museum educator.
Research interests focus on oral history, the fates of Polish citizens in exile during the 20th century, women’s history, cultural heritage, and museology.
The topic of the doctoral dissertation concerns Polish female citizens deported from the Eastern Borderlands and the roles they assumed in exile and refugee life – in social, military, and family spheres during World War II. The dissertation is being carried out under the supervision of Professor Hubert Chudzio.
