The Psychology and Neuroscience Section of the Interdisciplinary PhD Students’ Research Society at the UKEN Doctoral School cordially invites you to attend a research seminar led by Yael Meer, Ph.D., from Levinsky-Wingate Academic College (Israel), organised as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
Seminar topic:
“Cognitive and Emotional Factors in Learning Difficulties: ADHD, Dyslexia and Metacognition”
The meeting will address, amongst other things, the following topics:
– Impaired cognitive functions in people with ADHD – cognitive, educational, social and emotional consequences
– Time estimation and time management in adults with ADHD
– Current trends in research on learning difficulties
– Methodological and practical challenges in research on cognitive and emotional functioning

The seminar will take the form of a lecture combined with a discussion and an exchange of research experiences. This is a unique opportunity to learn about current research trends and to establish academic contacts within the international academic community.
The event is primarily aimed at PhD students in psychology, neuroscience, education and neuro-speech therapy, but it is open to all, and we welcome anyone interested in the seminar’s topics.
