Your research will be carried out according to your Individual Research Plan, which you will prepare in cooperation with your supervisor(s). We will support your research in multiple ways.
Funding
Your research may be funded from a number of sources:
- an internal grant program (PBSD)
- the Doctoral School’s program for international research stays (NAWA STER)
- the University’s Erasmus Plus exchange programs
- external grant programs (you receive guidance and support)
The PBSD grant may be used, for example, to buy necessary equpiment, software, materials and/or services; to carry out field research; to participate in an international conference, etc.
Academic support
You will have or two doctoral supervisors. You can also count on other UKEN researchers in your discipline. Thanks to mobility opportunities you can also work with researchers at any prestigious research institutions in the world.
The Researcher’s Workshop
As part of our training programme, you will take part in courses on academic writing, conference presentations, research methodology and more.
