PhD candidate in the discipline of literary studies. A graduate of Spanish philology and literary translation at the Jagiellonian University. He devoted his master’s thesis to the traductological analysis of his own translations of Spanish fables of the eighteenth century poet Tomás de Iriarte into Polish. Thus, he is the author of the first Polish versions of these fables.
In the research conducted for the needs of his doctoral dissertation, he proposes an ecocritical and posthumanistic interpretation of writings of Polish Romantic poets in reference to European green Romanticisms.
Out of numerous PhD candidate’s interests, it is worth mentioning environmental humanities, zoopoetics, animal psychology and ethology, theology, religious studies and comparative literature studies.
