Wilda Khafida

PhD student in Biological Sciences at the Institute of Biology and Earth Sciences. She obtained her Master’s degree in Biological Sciences from Jagiellonian University in Kraków and is currently affiliated with Jenderal Soedirman University, Indonesia. Her research focuses on soil ecology, with particular emphasis on belowground biota, soil processes, and their contribution to soil sustainability. Her doctoral research will examine the effects of metals originating from spent gunshot residues on multiple trophic levels of soil biota. Through this work, she aims to improve understanding of the mechanisms by which soil biota respond to and contribute to the restoration of metal-polluted soils.
